What areas do you cover?

How far we travel depends upon what type of job you have for us. Generally for regular slots we cover about a 10 mile radius from King’s Lynn but for a bigger jobs or one-off cleans we can justify travelling further. Wherever you are please drop us a line and we’ll see if we can help.

I’m worried about letting someone I don’t (yet) know into my house.

This is common and understandable, we get it. We like to get to know our customers and will usually meet with you, face to face, before you agree to employ our services. We are DBS (criminal record disclosure) checked and are happy to provide proof of that as well as checkable references. We’re happy to clean when you are at home or when you are out. And if you have any specific worries please don’t hesitate to talk to us.

Do you need the keys to my house/place or work?

That’s entirely up to you. We can hold keys, we can collect keys, you can use a key safe, we can clean when you’re home, or you can let us in then go out. Totally your choice and whichever option works best for you is fine for us.

Are you insured?

Yes. We have public and products liability cover of £1,000,000.

Are you DBS checked?

Yes. Everyone who works for us has undergone the government DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and will be happy to show you their certificate.

Do you offer other services like ironing or shopping?

Yes. We can offer these and also other helpful things such as receiving deliveries, and more – just ask. However we don’t take on large amounts of laundry or ironing as it just isn’t our speciality.

What do you charge?

Our standard rate is £12.50 per hour. The minimum booking is usually 2 hours but varies: if you are close to us we may be able to do a shorter slot. We don’t charge travel time or any other extra fees. Other rates are:

  • Single hour rate: £15
  • Cleaning with our products: Add £2.50 per hour
  • Deep clean rate: from £15 per hour (this includes using our products and may vary according to assessment of the job)

What products do you use?

For most domestic cleans we will use your own cleaning products, but with our own tools (eg cloths, mops etc). We usually use our customer’s vacuum cleaners (so if you don’t have one please let us know in advance). You are welcome to opt for us to clean using our products but there is a surcharge of £2.50 per hour to cover the cost. For deeper cleans we use our own products.

What cleaning products should I have?

We usually recommend you have a spray kitchen cleaner, a spray bathroom cleaner, a multi-surface liquid (for floors etc) and a toilet cleaner. For extra clean results a limescale remover and a surface polish are helpful. We’re happy to advise, please just ask.

How can we pay you?

However suits you. Cash, PayPal, direct debit or bank transfer. And we hope to have a card machine soon.

Do I need to commit to a certain number of hours or weeks?

No. Subject to us being able to fit you into our timetable you can just book us whenever you need or want us to clean. However if you do want regular cleaning we’d really recommend booking a regular slot, that way we know we’ll have time to do your clean.

Do I need to sign a contract?

For regular cleans or bigger jobs we do usually use a contract that is signed by both is and the client (eg you). We think this provides clarity and assurances for us both. If you’d prefer a contract or no contract just let us know. If you have an ongoing contract with us you can cancel it whenever you want to, there is no long term commitment.
